FPF is a hands-on, totally voluntary organization. It operates out of the apartments of the Millers and Silvermans so there are no overhead expenses. Expenses total 1 – 1½ % of funds raised through donations and fundraising events.

Proceeds go directly to benefit the Ethiopian families through the recommendations of their social workers. Since 1998, FPF has raised over NIS 4.5 million, an exceptional amount for a group of 12 people who have devoted themselves to making sure that Ethiopian families living below the poverty line have enough to eat, that school fees are paid for their children, that scholarships are provided for university students, that appliances are in good working order, that children needing dental and medical treatment aren’t neglected, and that utilities aren’t cut off due to non payment of bills.

The Ethiopian families assisted call the FPF their “mother”!
